As we open the curtain on the 2025, I’d like to welcome all who is looking forward to the 20th
Seoul International Drama Awards.
The twenty years of the Seoul International Drama Awards has been truly remarkable journey. We have seen
the power of stories how they console our grief, give us hope and help us to understand each other.
People make stories and the stories shape who we are. As a chairman of the organizing committee, I’m
proud of being a part of and contributing this industry through the Seoul International Drama Awards.
Especially I’d like to thank you all who support and participate in with us.
Twenty years old is a very meaningful age for a human being.
People who turn twenty are recognized
as adults in society.
They are also at the age when they are energized and passionately able to
spread their wings toward their dreams.
The Seoul International Drama Awards launched the first
awards ceremony only for the TV series twenty years ago, and now it grows into a global festival with
industry creators and the fan around the world.
Reflecting on the past twenty years of history, we have prepared the Seoul International Drama Awards
2025 with a new resolution. Everyone from the winners on stage to the drama fans from all over the world
are main characters in the Seoul International Drama Awards.
